Service Level Agreement

This Service Level Agreement describes the AdvantEdge Service Level Agreement made between the Coach, Daniel J. Troup, of Advantiv Group Consulting LLC and the Client (identified in the AdvantEdge Careers Quote for Services).

Timeframe

​

Coach and Client will jointly determine the commencement date for services, which is not to begin before payment of services is received in full by Advantiv Group Consulting LLC. The length of the agreement, provision of selected assets, and frequency of sessions depend on the AdvantEdge Careers services selected.

Description of Services

​

Specific package(s) and services selected by Client are identified in the AdvantEdge Careers Quote for Services.

​

The services to be provided by Coach to Client are virtual sessions conducted using Zoom or Google Meet platforms (selected jointly by Coach and Client).

​

The Client acknowledges that resume writing and job search coaching are ongoing, interactive professional relationships designed to help the Client maximize his / her professional potential and achieve his / her career goals. Throughout the service level agreement period, the  Coach will engage in direct and personal conversations with the Client. The Client understands that the successful delivery of services requires a collaborative, co-creative approach between the Client and the Coach. In the coaching relationship, the Coach plays the role of a content creator and a facilitator of change, and it is the Client’s responsibility to enact or bring about the change.

As with any human endeavor, resume writing and job search coaching can involve feelings of discomfort and frustration, which may accompany the change process. Resume writing and job search coaching are for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy and who want to make changes and move forward in their lives. These services are not therapy or counseling. The Client agrees that AdvantEdge Careers services are not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, mental, medical, or other qualified professionals, and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters.

Responsibilities of the Coach

​

The Coach agrees to:

​

1. Provide the Client with professional resume writing and job search services to facilitate the achievement of agreed upon job and career search goals. Specific goals will be identified by the Client in the AdvantEdge Careers Intake Form(s).

​

2. Support the Client as a knowledge expert on resume writing and job search strategy and techniques, a trainer for job search strategy and techniques, and a thought partner for job search strategy and techniques.

​

3. Come prepared to each session with an open mind, honesty, and focus, and be fully present and focused on the Client for each session.

​

4. Start and finish each session on time (as specified in the AdvantEdge Careers Quote for Services and Package Descriptions).

​

5. Give the Client a minimum of 24 hours advance notice if required to reschedule any coaching session.

 

Responsibilities of the Client

​

The Client agrees to:

​

1. Allocate the required personal time and energy to participate fully in the services and program(s).

​

2. Come prepared to each session with an open mind, honesty, and focus, and be fully present and focused on the Coach for each session.

​

3. Fully complete all session prework and email prework materials to the Coach a minimum of 24 hours in advance of each session (varies dependent on Session topic).

​

4. Take full responsibility for his / her choices and decisions during the coaching sessions.

​

5. Notify the Coach if the coaching is not working as desired by the Client at any time and use his / her best efforts to work collaboratively with the Coach to resolve any issues that may arise over the course of delivery of the coaching sessions.

6. Give the Coach a minimum of 24 hours advance notice if required to reschedule any session.

 

Privacy / Confidentiality / Mutual Non-Disclosure

​

The coaching relationship is built on trust. Privacy and confidentiality are essential to building the trust needed for an effective working relationship between the Client and the Coach. The Coach and the Client mutually recognize that they may discuss the Client’s future plans, business affairs, customer information, financial information, job information, goals, personal information, and other private information. If the Client chooses to share private or confidential information with the Coach, the Coach will not voluntarily communicate the Client’s information to a third party (unless sharing the information is required by law). To honor and protect the Intellectual Property of AdvantEdge Careers, the Client acknowledges that AdvantEdge Careers' tools, processes, materials, and work product constitute valuable information, which is proprietary to AdvantEdge Careers. The Client agrees to maintain all such information in strict confidence. The Client further agrees that during the term of this Agreement, and at all times thereafter, the Client shall not disclose, communicate or use for the direct or indirect benefit of any person, firm, association or company other than for himself or herself, any information regarding the business methods, business policies, procedures, techniques, research or development projects or results, trade secrets, or other knowledge or processes used or developed by AdvantEdge Careers.
 

Session Cancellation, Postponements & Tardiness

​

The Client and the Coach, respectively, must provide each other with at least 24 hours notice of a session cancellation or postponement. The Coach will make commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions that are cancelled or postponed at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session. The Coach will attempt to reschedule the session within the same week as the originally scheduled session. If the Client is more than 15 minutes late for a coaching session, the Coach will assume the session is cancelled and the Client may forfeit the session. At the sole discretion of AdvantEdge Careers, the coach may elect to reschedule any session for which advance notice of cancellation/postponement was not provided, a minimum of 24 hours in advance, or for which the Client did not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time.

All coaching sessions must be scheduled and completed within 12 months of receipt of the date of full payment for AdvantEdge Careers resume writing packages and coaching services.

​

Agreement Termination

​

Either party may terminate the Service Level Agreement for any reason by providing the other party with written notice a minimum of 2 weeks before the desired termination date. AdvantEdge Careers will process a refund to the client calculated based on the per SKU pricing for any session(s) not initiated (i.e., distribution of prework material) before the agreement termination date. All refunds will be processed by AdvantEdge Careers and sent to the Client within 30 business days of the agreement termination date.

No Warranties/Guarantees

​

Resume writing and job search coaching do not offer any guarantee of job and career search success. AdvantEdge Careers makes no representation or warranty to the Client that any resume writing, coaching methods, or the coaching sessions will work for the Client’s specific career and job search situation. The Client will not hold AdvantEdge Careers responsible for the failure (in whole or in part) to achieve any of the Client’s specific career and job search goals.

Agreement Acceptance

​

Client submission of full payment for package and services identified in the AdvantEdge Careers Quote for Services will represent a complete understanding of, and agreement with, the information outlined in the AdvantEdge Careers Service Level Agreement. Submission of full payment by the Client acknowledges that the Client has read the information contained in this agreement, indicates the Client's assent to the terms of this agreement, and signifies Client's assurance that Client will abide by the agreement terms and conditions over the term of the AdvantEdge Careers Service Level Agreement.
